God’s love for us is not dependent on what we believe. We do not control God by our faith. God is God.

"Whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s," Paul never grew tired of telling us. We must never forget that our petty disagreements, our unending arguments over who is right and who is wrong are, in the end, utterly futile.

God is God and if God chooses to love all of creation, as I believe Jesus taught, then all the creeds, confessions and commandments will not change that truth.

A healthy faith does not depend on having all the answers. A healthy faith is far more dependant on a question or two, an occasional doubt and a humble, humble heart.
